Hi, my name is Denette Russell and I am the owner and director of Little Tikes University. I have four wounderful children and a loving husband.  At Little Tikes University you are part of our family. I have a degree in Early Childcare Education and have 16 years of experiance teaching preschool. Our preschool is a learning centre for children ages 3 to 5 years old. The main idea is to learn through play, the children will learn in a kindergarten-like setting. While keeping learning activities fun, interactive, interesting and hands-on. At Little Tikes University we integrate language arts, math, science, creative expression, music and art. We do this through the use of interaction, books, songs, plays, puppets, crafts and science experiments, and of course our animals. The children will be abl eto interact and learn about the dogs, horses, cats, and bunnies that we have on site every day. My goal is to provide activities and experiance that will motivate children to learn using developmentally age appropriate concepts and themes.

Our country location on 22 acres provides adequate space for all developmental areas. The preschool is located in a large barn complete with all the benifits of being in the country. Your children will have supervised opertunities to care for small animals and gain an appreciation for nature while embarking on many outdoor explorations.
